31ST JULY 2023 IS THE LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF NOMINATION OF 27TH MAHAVEER AWARDS

Bhagwan Mahaveer Foundation, Chennai invites nominations for the 27th Mahaveer Awards for Excellence in Human Endeavour in community service viz.,1. Propagation of Non-violence and Vegetarianism, 2. Education, 3.Medicine & 4. Community and Social Service. According to the Founder Trustee of the Bhagwan Mahaveer Foundation, Shri N. Sugalchand Jain there would be four awards each of them consisting of a cash component of Rs.10 Lakhs, a Citation and a Memento.
Shri N. Sugalchand Jain said that the Foundation has been established in the year 1994. So far 84 awards have been given away by President of India, Vice President of India, Governor, Chief Minister etc. Recently 26th Mahaveer Awardee names have been announced in the Press Meet held on 11.1.2023. Totaling 88 awards were given to 23 States and 1 Union Territory.
Stating the procedure for nomination Shri S Prasanchand Jain, the Managing Trustee of the Bhagwan Mahaveer Foundation said that the application form can be downloaded from website: www.bmfawards.org . According to Shri S Prasanchand Jain, the last date for receipt of the nominations is 31st July 2023. No nomination will be accepted after the last date and application should be filled up in a proper way as per the guidelines mentioned in the application form. No incomplete application will be accepted.
