Students of Hill Top School took part on excursion at Samutola-Khairbani

The Students of Hill Top School Visited Samutola-Khairbani visited Samutola-Khairbani

P.O: Luabasa for Value Education in Collaboration with MRA Initiatives of Change, Jamshedpur.
The Venue of program was  Samutola Memorial Club Hall, on  dated 3rd Aug, 2019. The Purpose of this excursion was  To create awareness among the villagers about education of girls and cleanliness.

 

 

 


The students reached the village at about 9.15 am and proceeded for a rally through the village with their  placards and also with some musical instruments arranged by the villagers.
While moving through the village students distributed the cards prepared by the Hill Top students (class 9A & 9B) and alsodistributed the biscuit packets among the villagers during rally. Rally was assisted by Mr. Indrajit Singh, Program Coordinator MRA-Initiatives of Change and Mrs. Singo Murmu, Mukhiya of Luabasa Panchayat.Then students started with their main program. Mr. Indrajit Singh introduced some of the chief guests and guests Mr. Biplab Mahato, Trustee MRA- Initiatives of Change, Mr. UN Singh and Mr. Biku Malgandi, Pradhan of the same village.
Miss Nandani of Std 9A was anchoring the program. First some students of Std 9A delivered speeches on cleanliness and girl child education to create awareness on this topics.
Miss Ashmita Paul of Std 9A on cleanliness, Poushali Patra of Std 9B on cleanliness and Karan Sharma, awareness child abuse and education of women.After the speeches there was a skit performed by the students of Std 9B to show how boys and girls are discriminated and to create awareness among the villagers that they should be educated and this discrimination should not exist.This skit was followed by another with the same motive which was performed by the students of Std 9A & 9B.After all their speeches and skit chief guest, Mrs. Singo Murmu addressed the people present and appreciated the value of education program of Hill Top School and also spoke about the culture and lifestyle of the villagers and the importance of education. Mr. Biplab Mahato suggested to villagers for development and to build a bridge of good friendship between rural and urban people and adopt and respect the goodness of each other’s culture. Good education is the key to bring development in rural areas, each one has to take this responsibility to fulfill this need.
Towards the end of Hill Top School program they distributed some cards among the villagers and also the biscuit packets to the villagers who were present in the program.At the end ,students of Hill Top School proposed the vote of thanks.
