  • Babesiosis is an infectious disease of animals caused by protozoan parasite i.e. Babesia species and characterized by hemoglobinuria, anemia, petechiae and ecchymoses in serous membranes, icterus, pulmonary oedema and gastroenteritis.
  • Differential diagnostic points are;
    • Fever
    • Normal Lymph node
    • Jaundice (occasionally occurs)
    • Abortion (occasionally occurs)
    • Haemoglobinuria
  • Theileriosis is an infectious disease of animals caused by protozoan parasite i.e. Theileria species and characterized by enlargement of lymph nodes, pulmonary oedema, haemorrhage in kidneys and liver, ulcers in abomasum and catarrhal enteritis.
  • Differential diagnostic points are;
    • Fever
    • Swollen Lymph node
    • Jaundice (occasionally occurs)
    • Nasal discharge
    • Lacrymation
    • Pin point hemorrhages in conjunctiva
  • Trypanosomiosis is an infectious disease of animals caused by protozoan parasite i.e. Trypanosoma species and characterized by emaciation, enlargement of spleen and lymph nodes, petechiae on serous membranes, ulceration on tongue and gastric mucosa and gelatinous exudate in subcutaneous region.
  • Differential diagnostic points are;
    • Fever
    • Normal Lymph node
    • Nervous sign
  • Anaplasmosis is a disease caused by protozoan parasite i.e.  Anaplasma species and characterized by fever, anemia and jaundice.
  • Differential diagnostic points are;
    • Fever
    • Normal Lymph node
    • Jaundice (occasionally occurs)
    • Abortion (occasionally occurs)
