Dr. Satyajit Naik, SP of the National Investigation Agency expressed his thoughts regarding fitness and his routine. He also shared how he manages his time and what all sports he plays.

 

 

Bhubaneswar: Dr.Satyajit Naik, SP of the National Investigation Agency shared his fitness routine in an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat.Dr.Satyajit Naik, SP of the National Investigation Agency is basically a veterinarian from ODISSA VETERINARY COLLEGE of 1995 Batch who cleared UPSC EXAM in first attempt and came in top 10 rank.

Talking about the importance of physical fitness, Naik said, “Physical fitness is important for our job as we provide safety and security to the public. We deal with the anti-social elements which require physical fitness and mental alertness.”

Satyajit Naik has participated in several marathons and also gets involved in cycling, swimming, tennis, apart from running.

“Fitness requires proper time management as health is wealth. In a week, I do running for three days, cycling for 2-3 days and I invest rest of the days in swimming and tennis,” said Naik.

Naik also revealed that many NIA officials including women are also a part of his fitness group in Delhi.

Regarding his future plans, he said, “Currently, I just want to serve the people and the nation. I have no specific future plans at the time being,”
