Appeal to Veterinarians for VCI Election – 2024

Dear fellow Veterinarians,

Our profession is already facing lots of difficulties, work pressure, poor societal and Governmental recognition. The VCI is supposed to address these issues for development of the profession and to counter the crisis crippling the profession. However, the earlier members were hardly concerned about the same. That apart, the standards of Veterinary Education were deliberately lowered to benefit the mushrooming private colleges. They did not even bother to address disparities existing in the system like registration process, pay scales, promotional avenues, NPA, etc. Majority of vets at state do not know about VCI and it’s potential. The only interest of the previous members has been to continue clinging to their offices and hold corridors of power. A reputed magazine arranged for open debate on 19.5.2024, all but two IVA panels attended. Why so? Because, they have no vision, no answer to face questions regarding past performances and are planning to win by mal-management techniques, as they have been doing earlier.

Hence, this election is an occasion to please think and vote to save Profession.

Our team is a group of clean and abled professionals, who promise for efficient, smart, fair and vibrant VCI for betterment of profession. Our promise and commitment for the profession, majorly are:

             Strengthening transparency, efficiency and autonomy character of VCI

             Revamping the functioning of the VCI in line with New Education Policy

             To ensure nationwide Pay-parity, NPA and other entitlements of vets

             House Staff (optional) after internship with honourable stipend
