IMPORTANCE OF CHOLINE CHLORIDE IN POULTRY FEED

Choline is a vitamin-B like molecule.
The body uses choline to produce certain brain chemicals, to mobilize fat, for normal transmission of nerve impulses, and is used for a range of body functions.
Choline in poultry is responsible for Fatty liver Syndrome & bone abnormalities.

Fatty liver syndrome is a condition that generally affects fast growing broilers kept on high energy diets and caged layers since they do not get sufficient opportunity for free movement and exercise. Fatty liver syndrome is associated with deficiency of methyl group donors in the feed, increased liponeogenesis due to deficiency of Vitamin-B complex specially Choline, reverse mobilization of fat due to stress condition, high estrogen activity, mycotoxins etc.

Choline is a vitamin-B like molecule.

Benefits

Maintains integrity of cell structure.

Choline in the feed helps effective mobilization of hepatic fat and transportation of lipids from liver to adipose tissues.

It has lipotropic action, prevents abnormal fatty infiltration in liver, prevents fatty liver syndrome and controls mortality associated with FLS.

Choline also contains constituents that keep liver optimally functional so that adequate synthesis of choline can takes place.

It helps in formation of acytylcholine- a neurotransmitter and keeps the nervous system working in harmony.

Prevents bone abnormality in chick-perosis.

Active phyto-constituents of Choline promote acylation reaction to facilitate conversion of lipid to phospholipids.

Choline helps to significantly reduce abdominal and carcass fat in broilers.

Choline gets easily absorbed and does not interact with vitamins and other feed ingredients or commonly used drugs in poultry.

Choline is non-corrosive and non-hygroscopic and free from obnoxious odor.

Usage

As feed supplement to provide optimum quantity of Natural Choline required to maintain health, production and to control fatty liver syndrome.

For maintaining optimum mobilization of hepatic fat and transportation of lipids from liver to adipose tissue.

For improving protein synthesis, antibody titers and other immune functions.

To maintain secretion of bile at optimum levels and to help prevent liver enlargement, fatty infiltration of liver and fatty liver condition.

To maintain growth, FCR, egg production, livability and hatchability.
