CANDIDATE FOR THE VCI ELECTION 2020
My Agenda as an IVA Member.
1. To Provide Basic Amenities to all the Vety Hospitals by face-lifting the institutions
2. To ensure Safety, Security, Self-Respect & insurance coverage to all the Veterinarians
3. To empower regulatory powers of FSSAI to Veterinarians
4. To equip field Veterinarians with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools for early diagnosis and for ease of Animal treatment & Care at the earliest.
5. To conduct refresher programmes (Webinars, Conferences, Trainings) to field Vets for keeping ourselves updated.
6. To provide minimum diagnostic facility at all the Vety hospitals to avoid Anti-Microbial resistance and train Vets on Ethno Veterinary practises
7. Addressing the issues of Vets by supporting the State Associations at Central Level (Registration of Vet Colleges, Hike of Stipend, Personal Problems etc.)
8. Reviewing the Vets Curriculum and old semester system
9. Advisor system to be strengthened
10. To create opportunities to participate in International Conferences, fellowships, Internship, Training programmes (Research on Animal Models for disease study)
11. To invite international Scholars for talks/Symposiums/Conferences/Congress for sharing of knowledge.
12. To enable/provide access to both UG & PG students to all the journals/articles
13. To provide the students with animal mannequins for virtual simulation in various subjects to avoid sacrifice of animal & keeping in view the Animal Welfare Acts & Rules.
14. Strengthening of the state VCI in terms of budget and staff
15. To establish Animal Hostels for Animal Welfare and a Veterinarian should be posted there.
16. To enlighten the nation about the efforts made by the Veterinarians and making the Veterinary Fraternity Proud in every aspect of life.
