MANIFESTO FOR VCI ELECTION 2020
1-Uniform rank and salary allowed to all the Veterinarians across all the states of country and union territory.
2-In the context of the Emerging Zoonotic diseases,the services of Veterinary professionals should be declared as Emergency Services.
3- In the context of Antimicrobial resistance,the concerned Government Veterinarian shall be armed with legal jurisdictional powers over the quacks and retailers to check the abuse of antibiotics.
4-Clear guideline shall be laid down for the para veterinary staff like Livestock extension officers and pharmacist on the issue of the extent of treatment.
5-In the context of rising feed adulteration,the concerned Government Veterinarian shall be allowed to maintain quality control.
6-Adequate staff and optimum infrastructure shall be mandatory for efficient discharge of duties of Veterinarians.
7-Initiation for the formation of Indian Council of Veterinary Research.
8-Skills of the Veterinarians shall be upgraded periodically by exposure visits to Universities of different countries.
9-Strict follow up of granting of Non practice allowance and dynamic ACP across all the states.
10-Security and welfare of lady Veterinarians will not be compromised and they shall be posted in the nearby hospitals or in the District offices and hospitals.
11-Lateral entry of the Veterinarians into the universities and research institutes for better cross engagement.
12-Opportunities for higher studies shall be granted to all the Government Veterinarians to develop specialization in their fields.
