  1. Received ICAR Junior Research Fellowship under 1988-89 programme, Pusa, New Delhi Veterinary Anatomy
  2. Best Paper Award (2004) for oral presentation on “Anatomical study on the mandible of Asian Elephant
  3. Best Clinical Article Award for clinical article (2005) entitled “Trematode infection in Asian elephants and its treatment with Neozide” published in INTAS POLIVET.
  4. Best Paper award (2006)for oral presentation on “Macromorphological study on the tongue of Asian elephant calves (Elephas maximus)”

Prestigious “Lifetime Achievement Award on Wildlife” conferred on 19th April, 2013 by ‘Association of Indian Zoo and Wildlife Veterinarians’ and ‘Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology’ for her outstanding research works on health care and management of Wildlife fauna in Orissa University of Agriculture and , Bhubaneswar.

: ICAR adhoc research project on “Ontogeny of specific immune system of pig with special reference to the indigenous variety”

  • Revision of Veterinary curriculum with emphasis on practical learning
  • Model Act for course curriculum for Veterinary colleges under different universities across the country
  • Equivalence of graduate qualification of B.V.Sc & A.H. Degree to Doctor of veterinary Medicine (DVM) internationally
  • Managing Post graduate courses and Doctoral programme by VCI
  • To improve service conditions of Field Veterinarians, Private Practitioners and Veterinary Entrepreneurs
  • To maintain parity and transparency at recognition of Veterinary Institutions providing Bachelor’s degree

VCI के भविष्य के कार्यों हेतु मेरी परिकल्पना     (विजन डॉक्यूमेंट)

 

  1. पशु चिकित्सा शास्त्र के व्यवहारिक ज्ञान को केंद्र में रखते हुए पाठ्यक्रम को पुनः निर्धारित कराना।

 

  1. मॉडल एक्ट – देश के सभी पशु चिकित्सा महाविद्यालयों में पाठ्यक्रमों को एक “मॉडल एक्ट” के अंतर्गत लाना।

 

  1. B.V.Sc. & A.H. डिग्री को अंतरराष्ट्रीय मानकों के Doctor of Veterinary Medicine , DVM के समान मान्यता दिलाना।

 

  1. पीजी और पीएचडी के कोर्स को VCI के अंतर्गत लाना।

 

  1. विभिन्न राज्य एवं केंद्र सरकारों के अधीन कार्य करने वाले पशु चिकित्सकों, निजी क्षेत्र के पशु चिकित्सक एवं पशु चिकित्सा व्यवसाय शुरू करने वाले पशु चिकित्सक को कार्य में सुगमता हेतु एक ऐसी नीति बनाना जिससे उनके कार्य क्षेत्र में एक बेहतर माहौल बनाने में सुविधा हो।

 

  1. पशु चिकित्सा शास्त्र में बैचलर डिग्री की उपाधि देने वाले सभी संस्थानों की कार्य पद्धति में एकरूपता एवं पारदर्शिता लाना।

 

  1. कार्य क्षेत्र में होने वाले किसी भी प्रकार के शारीरिक और मानसिक उत्पीड़न से पशु चिकित्सकों को बचाने हेतु एक सख्त कानून लाना।

 

  1. इंडियन काउंसिल ऑफ वेटरनरी रिसर्च (ICVR) की स्थापना की दिशा में हर संभव प्रयास करना।

 

  1. बड़ी संख्या में बेरोजगार पशु चिकित्सकों की नियुक्ति हेतु सभी संभावित विकल्पों पर सरकार का ध्यान खींचना एवं नए विकल्पों तक पहुंच बनाना।

 

  1. आईएएस आईपीएस एवं आईएफएस की तर्ज पर इंडियन फारेस्ट वेटरनरी सर्विस (IFVS) आवश्यकता पर कार्य करना और स्थापना कराना।

 

  1. राज्य सरकार एवं विभिन्न विश्वविद्यालयों में कार्य कर रहे पशु चिकित्सकों को केंद्र सरकार अंतर्गत कार्यरत पशु चिकित्सकों के अनुरूप नॉन प्रैक्टिसिंग अलायंस दिलवाना।

 

  1. विभिन्न विश्वविद्यालयों, केंद्र एवं राज्य सरकार के अंतर्गत कार्यरत पशु चिकित्सकों की सामान्य योग्यता के अनुरूप पूरे देश में एक समान वेतन भत्ते की अनुशंसा कराना।

 

  1. कठिन एवं जोखिम भरी परिस्थितियों में काम कर रहे पशु चिकित्सकों को जोखिम भत्ता दिलवाना।

 

  1. हमारी महिला पशु चिकित्सकों को अपना पेशा चुनने के अधिक विकल्प मिले एवं पेशेवर गतिविधियों में VCI से उपयुक्त सहायता मिले इसके लिए प्रयास करना।
