Worked in Various capacity as Assistant Professor (CSAUAT, Mathura: 1991-94); Lecturer (BCKV,WB:1994-95); Lecturer(SS) ; Lecturer(SG) Reader , Associate Professor and Professor (WBUAFS, WB: -till date)
Achievements in association:
❖ During the college era, I was elected student representative at UG and PG level in the board of management of the university representing all faculties.
❖ As an academician, I was an active member of academic and faculty councils in 3 different universities.
❖ Pioneer in introducing IFS models in Hooghly district under Akhna Fishery cum Duckery Project in 1987
❖ Played pivotal role in enhancing student scholarship for UG & PG level and Internship allowance of students as per medical and fought for state service cadre of field veterinarians of West Bengal.
❖ Leadership role in movement for establishing the 2nd veterinary university in India at Kolkata.
❖ Took active part in NPA for teachers and amalgamation of service and animal husbandry directorate in WB.
❖ Organized Indian Veterinary Student Association as part of International Veterinary Students Association (IVSA)
Trying to form a platform of Veterinary College Teachers Association for academic & professional agenda
❖ Was a part of successful contingent of Inter University Youth Festival Team & sports team.
❖ As external examiner to different university had the opportunity to meet all state veterinary associations
❖ As an active member of Indian Veterinary Association, Indian Science Congress Association, Indian Public Health Association IPHA, Indian Association of Veterinary Pathologists IAVP and other national level organization he has always moved veterinary professional issues passionately.
❖ Organized different National & International Conferences of different Professional Societies.
❖ Appeared in numerous program in mass media like radio & doordarshan, print media as expert.
❖ Participated in all Veterinary Council Election in last 20 years.

❖ An ardent trekker, he climbed 19000 feet through Lipulekh pass and 22000 feet Dolma pass successfully to Complete kailash Mannsarovar yatra.
