1.Poultry farmers should note that if we miss the first week ,we can never make it.
2. Getting a good even start to a flock, it is important to consider the development of one of the bird’s most important organs: the intestine.
3. Poorly developed intestines will have relatively high levels of harmful bacteria .
4. At the end it will be less efficient at absorbing nutrients, leading to poor growth, feed conversion and gut health ultimately causing wet litter.
5. The use of probiotics by all farmers has seen resurgence as they can help establish a population of beneficial bacteria in the intestine, meaning there is less room for harmful bacteria to take hold.
6. Furthermore, a gut populated with beneficial bacteria will be more robust against challenges like coccidiosis later on.
7. Mycotoxins in feed continuously damage the digestive track.Administer good mycotoxi binder in feed.
8. Healthy way of rearing chicks. Give sugar 500 GM’s in 8 litres with probiotic along with acidifier and electrolytes on arrival of chicks .
9. Administer jaggery water next 16 hrs 1kg for 1000 chicks will give good start to chicks with low early mortality and better body weights.
10. Last but not the least Managing the upper part of digestive system is crucial for development of modern 🐦 bird.
