DeLaval Opens for Research Collaboration with Young Scientists

The DeLaval Scientific Committee invites applications from young scientists all over the globe to join the DeLaval student program and to submit an application to the Gustaf de Laval Fund for young scientists.
This year, the focus area concerns projects within precision dairy farming and production management. More precisely, the suggested project should include elements of monitoring and management of dairy cattle to improve health, welfare and efficiency of milk production that helps to strengthen sustainable food production. DeLaval invites master students and Ph.D. students to apply for funding for their projects.
DeLaval wants to encourage and support scientific projects within the focus area which also goes hand in hand with DeLaval’s goals on sustainability.
Projects that will deliver significant new knowledge for sustainable dairy production, that can improve animal welfare, milk production efficiency, farm economics, or health and longevity will be prioritised in the evaluation process.
