Dr. M.R. Saseendranath is KVASU VC
The Hon’ble Governor Shri Justice [Retd.] P. Sathasivam, in his capacity as Chancellor, has appointed Dr. M.R. Saseendranath, Mapranathu House, Arimpur P.O., Thrissur – 680020 as Vice Chancellor of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University as per the provisions of Section 12 (4) of the Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Act, 2010 and the UGC Regulations, 2010 for a period of five years from the date on which he assumes office.
Dr. M.R. Saseendranath, Former Director Academics & Research of KVASU and National Consultant, UNFAO, CERF Project, received his PhD from Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University [TANUVAS] during 1994. He has over 35 years of professional experience including more than 20 years of teaching and 11 years of administrative experience. A Fellow of National Academy of Veterinary Science and the Indian Society for Veterinary Medicine, he is a recipient of the Bharat Ratna Dr. C. Subramaniam Award of ICAR for outstanding teaching during 2004-2005.
