GROWING DEMAND & EXPORT OF TABLE EGGS : POTENTIAL OF LAYER FARMING IN INDIA
Currently India exporting 50 million Egg daily to Saudi ( 5 crore) & chances is it would increase to up to 100 million (10 crore) in coming days but as per quality parameters major competition is Iran but since cost of production of Indian egg quite less than turkey & other countries so India got advantage for big middle East mast Market share but simultaneously In India major issue is production & birds Health problem which farmer is now realised reason may be
- Up to 2 month passed domestic egg price was too much low most of the farmers was in brim of surving mode stage due to this
- Some small farmers who is taking ready made feed skip regular vaccine .
- In the name of Biosecurity & immunity management cost expenses drastically down or near about negligible .
- Due to demand of low cost feed price lots of compromise in raw materials specially in terms of
a.Toxicity which affects ovary in some places viral symptoms also observed , (Farmer who skip or ignore ND & IB titer in trans phase of weather ) .
- Since raw materials has been changed specially grain but in most of the feed micronutrients doses are remain same although that also need to change by consulting nutritionist this is similar case where most of the farmer calculate protein price base on its protein % not it’s digestibility or other expensive nutrients which need to be considered while balancing feed as per weather
Now what is ambitious in field every one want overnight improvement in production & birds health condition some of the small farmers now thinking all alternative raw materials to remove from feed & transfer to conventional raw materials which is also not sensible idea .
Best way to solution
- use authentic near by lab test your raw materials not only aflatoxin but also other toxin specially zearalenone (layer & breeder birds) keeping very much essential & if your farm in dry cold area then ochratoxin or humid area then T2 toxin
So choose good toxin binder which assure you binding of fungal toxin & endotoxin which generated due to indigestible raw materials due to this gram negative bacteria chance to get proliferate & to avoid symptomatic treatment most of the farm once in a month do antibiotics treatment without taking care of others supportive treatment due to this although with antibiotics may clean gut with all kind of bacteria but simultaneously these harmful bacteria secret endotoxin which is not good birds health & production point of view .
