Introduction: udder edema is common in high yielding dairy animals prepartum diets that conatain salt increases the severity of udder edema. physiological edema is not usually painful and it gradually clearwithin 3 to 5 days
Case report: I got a call from owner .A jersey cow aged 2.5 years calved 15 days back. Complaints of udder edema from udder to brisket region since 10 days ,anorectic,animal was standing for past 5 days .cow was treated with local doctors and treated with allopathic medicines . swelling not reduced it gradually increased, milk not reduced drastically.owner was very poor barrowed bank loan on that animal . He prayed lot to save the animal. He paid almost 10000 to allopathy treatment
Treatment :
By observing all complaints and animal we thought homeopathy medicine can cure this udder edema .we use following homeopathic medicine

All in equal proportions
Teatsule no 2 Evening
bolus composition
Belladonna 200
Calcarea floumca 200
Conium mac 200
Hepar sulpha 200
Silicia 200
All in equal proportions .
Above compositions were given to animal morning and evening regularly for 5 days .animal showed positive response .Edema gradually reduced animal become normal ,milk yield increased.
Discussion and conclusion
Above used composition normaly used to treat the mastitis in cow .But we tried same composition to treat the udder edema and it can also used to treat brisket edema also. cow was cured with 500 rupees .owner was happy Homeopathic medicine is economical .by using homeopathic medicine it increases farmer income as well as it saves farmers life .
