International Society for the Prudent Use of Antibiotics (ISPUA)
After the discussion with some scientists belonging to different faculties globally , We are planning to form one International level organization in the name of ” International Society for the Prudent Use of Antibiotics (ISPUA)” . The same will be registered with the society Regd. Act in India & a website will be made shortly.
The mission of the International Society for the Prudent Use of Antibiotics (ISPUA) is to strengthen global defenses against infectious disease by ensuring access to effective treatment and promoting appropriate antibiotic use to contain drug resistance.ISPUA will be initiated with the goal to be a global catalyst, advocating and stimulating for global engagement on antibiotic resistance by collaborating with a broad range of organisations, individuals and stakeholders.As we know Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is one of the biggest threats to both human and animal health today. AMR can affect anyone, of any age, and in any country. It can lead to longer hospital stays, higher medical costs and possibly death.AMR occurs when germs that can cause infections, such as bad bacteria, become resistant to medicines, such as antibiotics, used to kill them.
we seek ur valuable suggestions in this regard.
