Today ie on 12th feb 2020, the 4th Meeting of Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog board took place under Chairmanship of Dr. Vallabhbhai Kathiria in RKA Office premise New Delhi. .
Shri Atul Chaturvedi, IAS, Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry & Vice Chairman, RKA, Dr. O.P.Chaudhary, JS, Department of Animal Husbandry & Member Secretary, RKA, Shri Sunil Mansinghka, Shri Hukum Chandra Sawla, Dr. C. Balachandran, Vice Chancellor, Tamilnadu Veterinary and Animal University (TANUVAS), Dr. M.S. Chauhan, Director, National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal, Haryana, K.P. Singh, Vice Chancellor, CCS Haryana Agricultural University too were present, Dr. Pulin Chandra Das, Director, Animal Husbandry, Assam and many other dignitaries from Gau Sewa Aayog of various states and Universities were also present.
After the discussion on Core issues in length Stress was given on making Gaushalas economically Self Sustainable supporting Make In India, Healthy India, Clean India, Digital India, Startups India. Presentation on the various points were made viz, “Stray Cattle – Problem and Solution”, “Manure Value Chain Development Model” and “Agri based Model”.
