Poultry in India Covid-19:
1. As for NECC , Egg production in India prior to covid 19 was around 23 crores for day.
2. Now it is estimated that egg production has significantly reduced to 17 crores for day.
3. In Hyderabad and surroundings during 2019 , 3.5 crores of eggs were produced for day.
4. At present In Hyderabad and surroundings the egg production is reduced to 2.2 crores eggs for day.
5. During 2019 around 1.2 crores kgs of poultry meat were sold throughout India for day
6. During 2019 15 lakhs of poultry meat was produced for day and 7.50 lakh kgs of poultry meat was consumed in Hyderabad for day.
7. Now the production and consumption of chicken meat and eggs consumption is reduced by 40%.throughout India.
8. Prices of eggs and chicken are not stable due to fluctuating market conditions.
9. Now everyday throws a new challenge in operations and it is a test of resilience and patience to all.
10. We do not grow stronger when everything is working for us, but when we are forced to cope with the unexpected or the undesirable.
11. Businesses will have to find ways to adjust to the new normal.🙏
