*Scheme for SC / ST Promoters*

Proposals are invited from Ministry of Food Processing Industries , Govt.of India for creation of food processing and preservation capacities and modernization/ expansion of existing food processing units which will help in increasing the level of processing, value addition for *SC/ST promoters*
Subsidy will be *@ 50%* of the eligible project cost subject to a maximum subsidy of Rs.5.00 Crore.
*Proposal should have eligible project cost more than Rs. 3.00 crore.*
Eligible Sectors:
1. Fruits & vegetables processing,
2. Milk processing
3. Meat/poultry/ fish processing,
4. Ready to eat/ ready to Cook Food products/ Breakfast cereals/ Snacks/bakery and other food products.
5. Grains/ pulses, oil seed milling and processing based on modern technology.
6. Modern Rice milling
7. Other agri –horti products including spices , coconut, soybean, mushroom processing honey processing etc.
8. Fruits / Honey based wines.
9. Natural Food flavors food additives / food extracts & colours, oleoresins (not synthetic) guar gum, cocoa products etc.
10. *Mfg Jaggery from sugarcane.
