Suguna, being the pioneer in broiler integration and contract farming aspires to disseminate scientific knowledge and techniques to the farming community and aspiring entrepreneurs by imparting education in the most conducive environment through a well structured curriculum. With this vision Suguna Institute of Poultry Management was established in 2012 under the aegis of Suguna Foundation.
SIPM will embed knowledge and technology to refresh and update the knowledge of practicing poultry farmers, employees in poultry industry. Suguna Institute of Poultry Management is in the offing to impart education and training on scientific poultry production, poultry farming, Poultry breeder management, Hatchery and incubation techniques, feed manufacturing and disease control measures.
SIPM aims to help in unemployed and underemployed youth to get self-employment opportunities across rural and urban India. Our desire is to give hands on training in various operations at different poultry farms and in its allied sector such as feed mills, processing plants and disease quality control laboratories.

Admission Process
Application for admission to courses should be made in the prescribed application form which is available in the Admission Office at Suguna Institute of Poultry Management, Post Box No. 44, 4/155A & 155B Chinnapappanoothu, vilamarathupatti Post, Udumalpet Tk, Tamilnadu-642207.
Admission form can be filled by online also which is available in our website. Incomplete application forms will not be accepted. All the details furnished by the candidates in the application form should be accurate. The filled in application form should be submitted in the college office on or before last date with the photocopies of the following,
• High school & Higher secondary mark sheet or its equivalent
• Transfer Certificate from the Institution last attended.
• Conduct Certificate from the Institution last attended.
• Community Certificate issued by a competent authority in the case of BC/MBC/SC/ST.
• Recent passport size Photographs
• Aadhar card
• Bank Account details with proof
Students shall submit all the above original certificates to the office for verification at the time of admission. The selected candidates shall deposit all the original certificates with the college and they will not be returned till the completion of the course. They are therefore advised to take sufficient number of Photo copies of all the certificates before submitting the originals to the college. Students who have secured above 80% in their HSC examination are eligible for 50% scholarship on the tuition fees.
The scholarship will be given after scrutinizing the application and the decision of the principal will be final. On the basis of the marks obtained, the students are called for interview and the committee selects the eligible candidates.
On showing these certificates the college will get the approval of the admission from the university. The register number allotted by the university will be the roll number of the students until he completes the course.Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Students dismissed on disciplinary grounds will forfeit the entire fees paid to the college. A student once enrolled for a course is expected to complete the same. If a student wishes to leave the college at any time before the completion of the course, he will have to pay the entire fees for the 3 years.
