VCI (VETERINARY COUNCIL OF INDIA) ELECTIONS – 2020
DEMOCRATIC ALLIANCE- NAVARATHAN MANIFESTO DEMOCRACY – TRANSPARENCY – INTEGRITY
1. Safety & Security: First and foremost aspect will be self respect and dignity to veterinarians in all aspects which include job, practice, financial support, etc.
2. 100% Job: Creation of job opportunity to new veterinary graduates in Departments, University, Teaching. Research, Pharma Industry, Dairy Development, Food Industry, Law enforcing authority, etc., by implementing the recommendations of ICAR and ICVR.
3. Act enforcement: The veterinary council act will be strictly enforced on the area of veterinary institutions and practically where paravets and supporting staff will be under the control of veterinary graduates.
4. Focus on Education: A separate committee of experts in education and research will be formed based on their recommendations for getting view all over India. The veterinary Education and teaching will be modified to the new atmosphere and current period requirements.
5. Seminars & Regional Conference: To ensure latest updation and development in veterinary practice and research, continuing veterinary education programmes and seminars Will be organised periodically regionwise with the involvement of State Veterinary Council and State Veterinary department and Association.
6. Students friendly: The problems pertaining to students of veterinary education will be considered and a committee will be formed for better education and research facilities. Based on that, problems will be solved.
7. Uniform veterinary service: Steps will be taken for creation of Central Veterinary service in order to bring uniformity in veterinary service nomenclature hierarchy and also in the pay structure.
8. Focus on Financial Benefits: Importance will be given to the long pending demand of veterinarians’ i.e. non-practicing allowance and DACP to VETs.
9. United Veterinary Association: We will give preference to insist the Govt. to conduct the Indian Veterinary Association Election first in all States then national wide in a democratic way to rectify the prevailing split in the Indian Veterinary Association in order to strengthen our profession unified in one umbrella.
