1. 60 to 70% of bird and 70% of eggs are made of water.

2. As birds have no inbuilt mechanism of storage of water, it should be provided regularly.

3. Good quality water should be supplied continuously to birds for

4. Test your water 💦 for micro biological contamination periodically.

5. Also test for chemical contamination of water of your Borewell once in a year .

8. Regardless of the source, it is highly important that water provided should be free of microbial contamination to ensure flock health and performance ultimately ensures food safety.

9. Therefore, water sanitation is a very crucial step in poultry operation and should be effectively carried out daily.

10. Water pipes should be cleaned with detergent at least once in two weeks preferably to remove biofilms causing bacterial proliferation.

11. Long pipes, suitable temperatures and deposits in the pipes left by vaccines, probiotics, antibiotics and vitamins will promote biofilm growth in water pipelines.

12. Regularly disinfect the water and use sanitisor daily in water 💦 for successful poultry water management.
